Andreea Munteanu wins the Jesolo beam final

         The Jesolo International Throphy continued today, for the first time ever, with apparatus finals for both seniors and juniors. The Romanian gymnasts took part in almost all of them but we would have liked to also watch Andreea Iridon on bars today – this was not possible after she missed bars yesterday. The Romanians made the podiums five times, with Laura Jurca and Andreea Munteanu placing twice within the top three. The latter came back strong on beam, after the Cottbus disappointment, to win both qualification and finals here. This was the only final won by a non-American gymnast in both junior and senior competitions…
