Moscow European Championships’ schedule and broadcasting details

Between the 17th and the 21st of April, Moscow will hold the 5th WAG and MAG Gymnastics European Championships. We will not be seeing a team competition this year as it will be exclusively dedicated to individual performances.  The Romanian Gymnastics Federation has already announced the names of the gymnasts going to Moscow: Diana Bulimar and Larisa Iordache for WAG and Flavius Koczi, Cristian Bațagă, Marius Berbecar, Vlad Cotuna, Andrei Muntean and Andrei Ursache for MAG.

The competition starts on Wednesday, April 17, with men’s qualifications. Romania will be in the second subdivision, starting on High Bar at 12:00 CET. The UEG has already announced they will be broadcasting the entire competition live on the internet here.

Here is the full schedule of the Championships:

Wednesday, April 17: MAG qualifications

08.00 – 10.30           1st subdivision

12.00 – 15.00           2nd subdivision (Romania)

15.30                         Opening Ceremony

16.00 – 19.00           3rd subdivision (Romania)

Thursday, April 18: WAG qualifications

08.30 – 11.00           1st subdivision (Romania)

12.30 – 15.00           2nd subdivision (Romania)

15.15 – 17.45           3rd subdivision

Friday, April 19: Individual all-around finals

11.00 – 13.45           MAG

15.30 – 17.30           WAG

Saturday, April 20: Apparatus Finals

11.30 – 14.50           FX, PH and RI for MAG / VT and UB for WAG                                    

Sunday, April 21:

11.30 – 14.50           VT, PB and HB for MAG / BB and FX for WAG

TVR1 and TVR HD will also be broadcasting live, starting the 19th of April.
